  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

  3. Stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the flour and salt until a smooth dough forms.

  4. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts so they are evenly distributed.

  5. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.

  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack.

  7. Once cooled, dust with confectioners’ sugar for a sweet finishing touch.
