🛒 What You’ll Need
🍫 2 cups milk chocolate chips
🍫 ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
🍚 1 cup crispy rice cereal
🧈 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
🧂 Tiny pinch of salt, optional
👩🍳 How to Make It
1️⃣ Melt the chocolate.
Add the milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring well after each one, until smooth and completely melted.
2️⃣ Add the crunch.
Gently fold the crispy rice cereal into the melted chocolate. Stir carefully so you don't crush all those little crispy pieces. 😉
3️⃣ Spread it out.
Line a small baking pan or loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour the chocolate mixture in and spread it into an even layer.
4️⃣ Let it set.
Refrigerate for about 30–60 minutes, or until completely firm.
5️⃣ Break or cut!
Lift the chocolate from the pan, peel away the parchment, and cut it into bars or break it into rustic pieces.
Then try not to eat half the batch before anyone else gets some. 😂🍫
✨ Want to Make Them Your Own?
🥜 Stir in finely chopped peanuts or almonds.
🍫 Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
🥥 Add a little toasted coconut.
🧂 Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top before chilling.
🎀 Wrap individual pieces for a homemade candy-box treat.
💡 A Little Tip
Make sure your crispy rice cereal stays dry and crisp before mixing it into the chocolate. And don't overheat the chocolate—gentle melting and frequent stirring will give you a much smoother finish.
For extra-thick bars, use a smaller pan. For thinner, more candy-bar-like pieces, spread the mixture into a larger pan.
