🛒 What You’ll Need
🥦 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
🧀 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
🌾 ½ cup breadcrumbs
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🌿 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
🌶️ ¼ teaspoon black pepper
🥚 2 large eggs
🫒 2 tablespoons olive oil
👩🍳 How to Make Them
1️⃣ Prepare the Cauliflower
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash the cauliflower and cut it into small, fairly even florets.
Pat them dry well.
The drier the cauliflower, the better the coating will crisp. 🥦✨
2️⃣ Make the Parmesan Coating
In a bowl, combine the Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Give everything a good stir.
3️⃣ Dip & Coat
Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the beaten egg, letting the excess drip off.
Then roll it in the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently so the coating sticks.
4️⃣ Arrange on the Pan
Place the coated cauliflower pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Leave a little space between them.
Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
5️⃣ Bake Until Golden
Bake for about 20–25 minutes, turning the cauliflower halfway through.
They're ready when the edges are golden brown and wonderfully crispy.
For an even crispier finish, give them a couple of extra minutes under the broiler—but watch them closely!
6️⃣ Serve Immediately
Let them cool for just a couple of minutes, then serve warm.
They're delicious on their own or with:
🥣 Ranch
🍅 Marinara
🧄 Garlic aioli
🌶️ Spicy dipping sauce
✨ Easy Ways to Change Them Up
🌶️ Add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes for heat.
🧀 Mix Parmesan with shredded mozzarella for extra cheesiness.
🍋 Add a little lemon zest for a bright flavor.
🌿 Use fresh parsley or basil after baking.
🥓 Sprinkle crispy bacon bits over the finished bites for an extra-indulgent version.
💡 A Little Tip
Don't overcrowd the baking sheet.
If the cauliflower pieces are packed too closely together, they'll steam instead of becoming beautifully crisp.
Give each bite some breathing room—and you'll get much better browning. 🔥
