🥧✨ Pecan Pie Cheesecake — Two Favorite Desserts in One!

🛒 What You’ll Need

🥧 For the Crust

🍪 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

🧈 6 tbsp melted butter

🍬 2 tbsp brown sugar

🧀 For the Cheesecake

🧀 24 oz cream cheese, softened

🍬 3/4 cup granulated sugar

🥚 3 large eggs

🍦 2 tsp vanilla extract

🥛 1/2 cup sour cream

🌰 For the Pecan Topping

🌰 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

🍯 1/2 cup brown sugar

🧈 4 tbsp butter

🥛 1/3 cup heavy cream

🍦 1 tsp vanilla extract

🧂 Pinch of salt

👩‍🍳 How to Make It

1️⃣ Make the crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar until evenly combined.

Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let it cool slightly.

2️⃣ Make the cheesecake filling

Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing just until incorporated.

Stir in the vanilla and sour cream until creamy and smooth.

Pour the filling over the crust.

3️⃣ Bake

Bake for about 50–60 minutes, until the edges are set and the center still has a slight jiggle.

Turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool inside for about 30 minutes.

Then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill completely.

4️⃣ Make the pecan topping 🌰

In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter.

Add the brown sugar, heavy cream, vanilla, and salt. Stir until smooth and gently bubbling.

Add the chopped pecans and cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently.

Let the topping cool slightly.

5️⃣ Bring it all together

Once the cheesecake is completely chilled, spoon the warm-but-not-hot pecan topping over the surface.

Spread it gently toward the edges.

Then slice, serve, and prepare for everyone to ask for another piece. 😍

✨ Want to Make It Extra Special?

🍨 Serve each slice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream

🥃 Add a tiny splash of bourbon to the pecan topping

🍯 Drizzle with caramel sauce

🌰 Use toasted pecans for even more flavor

🧂 Finish with a tiny sprinkle of flaky sea salt

💡 A Little Tip

Don't rush the cooling and chilling process.

A fully chilled cheesecake slices much more cleanly, and giving the pecan topping a few minutes to cool before spreading it over the cheesecake helps keep those beautiful layers intact.

For the neatest slices, use a sharp knife warmed under hot water and wiped dry between cuts. 🔪✨
