→ LET’S MAKE THESE CRISPY BITES!

1. PREHEAT THE OVEN

Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place an oven-safe wire rack on top if you have one.

2. CUT THE POTATOES

Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Cut each potato lengthwise into 6–8 wedges, depending on its size.

3. SEASON THEM UP

In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, parsley, and a little salt.

4. WRAP WITH BACON

Wrap one slice of bacon around each potato wedge, overlapping slightly. Secure the ends with a toothpick if necessary, and place the wedges seam-side down on the rack or baking sheet.

5. BAKE UNTIL GOLDEN

Bake for approximately 35–50 minutes, turning carefully halfway through if needed. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the wedges and the bacon. The potatoes should be tender, and the bacon should be browned and crisp.

For food safety, make sure the bacon reaches at least 145°F (63°C); if using pork bacon, follow the package's cooking instructions and cook it thoroughly until crisp. If the potatoes finish first, remove them and continue cooking the bacon as needed.

6. ADD THAT FINAL CRUNCH

If needed, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end to crisp the bacon further. Watch closely so it doesn't burn. Remove toothpicks before serving.

7. SERVE & ENJOY!

Let the wedges cool slightly, arrange them on a platter, and serve with ranch, barbecue sauce, or your favorite dip.

✧ TIPS FOR PERFECT POTATO WEDGES

★ Choose thin-cut bacon: It crisps more easily than thick-cut bacon while the potatoes cook.

★ Don't overcrowd the pan: Leave space between wedges so the bacon browns instead of steaming.

★ Want extra spice? Add cayenne pepper or chili powder to the seasoning.

★ Love cheesy potatoes? Sprinkle a little grated Parmesan over the wedges during the final few minutes of baking.

★ Air-fryer option: Cook in a single layer at 380°F (193°C), checking frequently for doneness and adjusting the time to your appliance.

♥ THE SECRET TO MAKING THEM IRRESISTIBLE

Dry potatoes and thin-cut bacon make a winning combination!

Excess moisture can prevent proper browning, while thin bacon has a better chance of crisping before the potatoes overcook.

And don't skip the dipping sauce—that creamy, tangy contrast makes every smoky, savory bite even better!
