👩🍳 How to Make It
1️⃣ Prepare the oven.
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ Whisk the eggs.
Crack the eggs into a large bowl and whisk until smooth and well combined. Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
3️⃣ Add the good stuff.
Stir in the cooked sausage and about 1 cup of the shredded cheddar.
4️⃣ Pour and top.
Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top. 🧀
5️⃣ Bake.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
6️⃣ Rest and slice.
Let it cool for about 5 minutes, then cut into squares and serve warm.
✨ Want to Make It Your Own?
🥓 Swap the sausage for cooked bacon or ham.
🌶️ Add diced green chiles for a little kick.
🧅 Toss in chopped onion or bell pepper.
🥬 Add a handful of spinach for extra color.
🧀 Try Monterey Jack, pepper Jack, or Swiss instead of cheddar.
💡 A Little Tip
Don't overbake it. The eggs will continue cooking for a few minutes after you take the dish out of the oven.
For the fluffiest texture, pull it from the oven as soon as the center is set and no longer looks wet. 🍳
❤️ Breakfast Doesn't Have to Be Complicated
There's something wonderful about recipes that make mornings easier.
No stack of dirty pans. No standing at the stove. No trying to cook eggs, sausage, and toast all at the same time.
Just mix, bake, slice, and enjoy. ☕🥚
And if there are leftovers?
Even better. Tomorrow's breakfast is already waiting in the refrigerator. ❤️
