🍎🍂 Homemade Apple Cinnamon Bread — The Cozy Loaf That Makes the Whole House Smell Amazing!

🛒 What You’ll Need

🍎 For the Bread

🌾 2 cups all-purpose flour

🥄 1 teaspoon baking soda

🧂 ½ teaspoon salt

🧈 ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

🍚 ¾ cup granulated sugar

🥚 2 large eggs

🌿 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

🥛 ½ cup milk

🍎 1½ cups peeled and diced apples

🍂 For the Cinnamon Swirl

🍚 ⅓ cup brown sugar

🌿 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

👩‍🍳 How to Make It

1️⃣ Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper if desired.

2️⃣ Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Batter

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk.

Don't overmix—the batter should just come together.

4️⃣ Add Those Apples 🍎

Gently fold the diced apples into the batter.

Every slice should have little pockets of juicy apple goodness. 😍

5️⃣ Make the Cinnamon Layer

Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.

Pour about half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Sprinkle most of the cinnamon mixture over the batter.

Add the remaining batter, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon mixture over the top.

For a pretty swirl, gently run a butter knife through the batter a few times.

6️⃣ Bake

Bake for approximately 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

If the top begins browning too quickly, loosely cover it with foil during the final part of baking.

7️⃣ Cool & Slice

Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10–15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack.

Try to let it cool before slicing—but we won't judge if you sneak a warm piece. 😂🍎

✨ Want to Make It Extra Special?

🌰 Add chopped pecans or walnuts.

🍯 Drizzle the cooled loaf with a simple powdered-sugar glaze.

🍎 Use a mixture of sweet and tart apples for more flavor.

🧈 Serve warm with a little salted butter.

🍂 Add a tiny pinch of nutmeg for an even cozier fall flavor.

💡 A Little Tip

Don't use apples that are too watery.

A firm baking apple holds its shape better and keeps the bread from becoming overly wet.

And if you're planning to serve this the next day, wrap the completely cooled loaf tightly—it stays wonderfully moist and flavorful.
